We had a visit from the 2009 Pork Queen, Natalie Friese!
Another first time event for us that is
semi-associated with the Iowa Pork Council's annual Pork Expo. Organization was very good,
water and electric were easy to access. And our reps visited often to see how we
were doing
Again we felt we turned in better food than our scores indicated but that seems to be common place with this team. We are called Smokers Purgatory for a reason. On the bright side we did get another call, pork this time .. 7th place. And that gives us calls in 3
categories. Leaving only ribs for us that needs drastic improvement.
